Medsphere VueCentric Framework

Copyright (c) 2004-2010 Medsphere Systems Corporation

----

VueCentric provides developers with a framework for creating end-user
interfaces. The framework provides both client/server communication,
as well as inter-component communication. The interface manager allows
for the integration of com based components into a unified user
interface.

In essence VueCentric allows a collection of individual components
(functionalities) to be bundled together into a unified user interface.
Further it allows these components to communicate with each other and
with a back-end database server.

Licensing
---------

All included software was developed by Medsphere, Copyright (C) 2004-2010

Collaboration
-------------

OpenVista Server is part of the larger open source project. Aspects of the
design, requirements definition, development, and testing are done in the
community. Medsphere.org is the central location for this collaborative
development process.

Medsphere.org provides all participants access to the solution development
process and a voice in how the system evolves. You can download open source
software, start discussions, host projects, build clinical content/best
practices, ask questions, make suggestions and blog about progress.

 * Collaborate 24 x 7
 * Share in the improvement of healthcare
 * Influence the OpenVista roadmap
 * Get answers to your questions from experts, peers, colleagues and others

Release Notes

The accompanying NEWS file lists defect corrections and enhancements included
in each release.

Note to Developers
------------------

The contents of this release represent changes to the VueCentric source
delivered in "EHR Patch 6". This recent compilation should be layered on top
of the previous release.

Included in this release is a configuration guide addendum. The original
development of the VueCentric Framework did not take into account the
possibility of a future open source release. Over time a number of third
party libraries were used within the framework. A handful of these libraries
are licensed as proprietary software. In those cases, the source code has
been stripped from the release.

As mentioned above, Appendix I contains a listing of the libraries with
details and contact information.

Is our intention to replace these libraries with open source equivalents
over time, or accept contributions from the community.
